Medicare Enrollment

Medicare Part D Open Enrollment is Oct. 15 - Dec. 7

Your Medicare Part D plan changes every year. Make sure it is still the right one for you.

Medicare Open Enrollment

Did you pay too much for your Medicare Part D deductible last year? Open Enrollment is an opportunity for you to switch insurance coverage to a plan that best suits your needs.

Understanding Medicare prescription plans can seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. Our staff can review your coverage and find the plan that's best for your needs!

Medicare offers prescription drug coverage to everyone with Medicare. We can assist in showing which plans may be best based on medications you take. If you decide not to get Medicare drug coverage when you're first eligible, you'll likely pay a late enrollment penalty unless one of these applies:

  • You have other creditable prescription drug coverage
  • You get Extra Help

To get Medicare drug coverage, you must join a plan run by an insurance company or other private company approved by Medicare. Each plan can vary in cost and drugs covered.*

Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D)

These plans (sometimes called "PDPs") add drug coverage to Original Medicare, some Medicare Cost Plans, some Medicare Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) Plans, and Medicare Medical Savings Account (MSA) Plans.*
